Hi, my name is Seth Hampton, the movement master, and I'm going to be talking about hip and knee stretches for arthritis pain relief. Again, any time you're working with arthritis, you want to be very gentle, but slowly involve movement. As you can see, I'm lying down on my stomach. You can do this on your bed, or any place that's comfortable for you. And, in a very comfortable, easy position, I'm just going to bend my back leg, and begin to capture it with my back hand, and slowly draw it in towards. What we want to focus on here is keeping both hips on the ground, so nothing is lifted up. And, go to your personal range of motion, and easy draw it in. Now, if this is challenging for you, you can always modify by using a towel or some sort of a band like this one, capturing it behind your foot in a comfortable way, and just going in a very small range of motion like this. This movement can also be done in a standing position, if you're okay to be standing on your joints. Standing on, and grabbing your foot behind, lifting it up. I'm Seth Hampton, the movement master, and this is hip and knee stretches for arthritis pain relief.
