    My daughter is 25 now, but when she was a school kid I packed her recyclable paper bag (kids often don’t like the lunch boxes because they think they look babyish and are not “cool”) with individual reusable plastic containers that held healthy lunch and snack items. In addition, the jury is out whether silicone ordimethyl polysiloxane is safe to store food in or cook with, so you might want to think twice about using it for your kids’ lunches. Further, parents should be aware that kids will swap their lunch and snacks with those of their friends. Even if you pack something scrumptious, other kids may coerce these tasty items away from your child; and kids are eager to share to please their classmates.
