Hi, I'm Jodi Grundig from momsfavoritestuff.com, and today I'd like to talk about baby shower gifts for boys. Now, when you hear baby shower gifts for boys, you're probably thinking all blue items like I have here. And while blue items I think are, are a great for boys, there are also other colors and other things that you can sort of incorporate. And so, you know, definitely some of these modern patterns like, like I'm showing here with the browns are very very popular these days. I like this adorable little hat which I think is great for either a boy or a girl. Though, the brown I think really is great for boy. Colors like, like yellow can definitely be appropriate for a boy and, and keep in mind things like towels and washcloths and things like, like that you may want, not want to go completely gender specific because the people that you're giving the gifts may end up having a girl next time around. So, other colors that I recommend are red which I think definitely pops. This particular color, this is a bottom pad, it's a diaper changing pad which I think is a great gift for either gender. And something like this which is really durable; you know, works nicely in a dark color so that you have it for awhile. And then, also something like this which is gender neutral; this is a sleep sack, but, something like in a dark color or a light color like this is, is perfect for a boy. So, the next time you attend a baby shower for a boy, think about incorporating not only the blue colors, but also, some of the modern prints that might have some of the blue colors in it. But also, some of these other colors which also work for a boy's nursery but aren't blue.
