Hi, my name is Jordan Carlman, and today we are going to talk about how to find the number of a blocked call. This can be a frustrating situation if you are receiving phone calls from someone and don't know the number that's coming in. Or it can be an important situation where you need to know the person who is trying to get a hold of you. There's a number of different ways to find this information. One of those ways would be if a blocked caller calls you but leaves you a voice mail, almost all voice mails with carriers are going to have a button that you can press that will actually take you after you've listen to the voice mail to call that person directly back. This option may or may not work depending on how the call is blocked and you may need to contact your carrier to see how that applies to you. Secondly, your carrier may have options to find out who this blocked number is by using an option such as blocking a number. Not all carriers block numbers but a lot of them do. The way the circumstance would work for you is you would add the feature onto your account which may cost you some additional money to block an incoming phone call from a certain number. If you have suspicions as to who this person is you could enter in the number and regardless of whether they block their number when they are calling you or do not block their number when they are calling you, this should block that person. And then you would know that they are or not the blocked caller. Last but not least and probably the most reliable option is if you have a phone such as the T-Mobile My Touch which has a third party marketplace or the Verizon Blackberry Storm which has a third party marketplace you can download applications that will reverse find out where the number is coming from that's actually contacting you and provide you with that number. These marketplace apps are not provided by the manufacturer or by the carrier of your cellphone but there should be an email attached with them so you can contact them for further instructions. These are the best ways to find out what the number is for a blocked number.
