Hi, I'm Bryan Davis from Seven Springs Snow Sport School, and today I'm going to talk about how to load a chairlift with a snowboard. For this, you're going to need a snowboard and a chairlift. The first tip I can offer you when loading a chairlift with a snowboard is to let one foot be unattached from the board, leave the other foot attached to the board as you glide up to the loading area. The second tip, do not let the board twist as you sit in the chair. There's a likelihood that if you let the board twist as you sit in the chair, you may hurt your knee; you could catch the toe side edge and fall out of the chair. The third tip is once you're seated, lower the restraining bar. That is how your ride a lift with the snowboard.
