Hi, I'm Bill Walker, and I'm going to show you how to clean silhouette blinds. You will need a dry white cloth, distilled water and mild dish washing detergent. Before you clean any silhouette blinds you should consult the care and cleaning instructions that came with your shade. There are some fabrics that take extra care. If you must clean the entire shade it must be done professionally by a cleaner that specializes in cleaning shear shades. It will involve ultrasonic cleaning on an injection cleaning system depending on the fabric. To spot clean a silhouette, first take a clean cloth and wet with distilled water. Gently dab the spot with the cloth. Because the fabric is so fragile you should never rub the spot. If the spot does not come out then put a little dish washing detergent in the water and try again. Now take a clean dry cloth and blot the spot. Again do not rub then let air dry. And that's how to clean silhouette blinds.
