Hi everyone, I'm Carol Ann, your fitness expert from Tampa, Florida, and I've got a few tips for you on how to lose your belly fat. Now, your belly fat, of course is right here in that center area, so the material you're going to need is great, healthy food, lots of water, some exercise equipment, and a nice, relaxing space. So, first of all, you're going to want to limit your alcohol. Whether it's beer, or wine, you just want to make sure that you're not getting in those empty calories through alcohol. Next, you want to replace that with some good, healthy foods. So we're talking fruits, vegetables, your whole grains, and these are all great foods in order for you to trim down that waistline. So, you want to lay off the empty calories that you get in junk food, like your bad carbohydrates and replace that with lean meats as well. Some good protein. Next, you want to drink good water, lots of good water, so about 64 ounces a day is what you want to take in to reduce and flush out that belly fat. Next, of course, you're going to want to exercise. So, make sure that you're incorporating cardo fitness, weight training, and functional training in your overall routine. Now, you can't really dictate where your body is going to lose weight. your body is going to burn total calories, and so it's going to take away from where it decides it wants to lose. But, if you're incorporating cardio, weight training, and functional exercises to where you're working the core, that's really going to help your overall belly fat. Next, you want to make sure that you're getting plenty of sleep, because your body needs rest in order to rejuvenate and to be able to function better on a day to day basis burning more calories. Making your machine more efficient. And lastly, make sure you're leading a stress less life. When you're under a lot of stress, your body produces cortisone, and that hormone typically helps you to store fat right in the belly region. So we want to reduce stress in our lives, make sure you take some time out for yourself, relax in a nice, comfortable area, and then that will help you to lose your belly fat.
