Hi, I'm Ali Reynolds with Ali Organics. Today, we are going to show you how to protect your tomatoes with bubble wrap. Things that we are going to need is bubble wrap, easily accessible. You can find it in Wal-Marts or any of your office supply stores. We are also going to need some sort of a cage. Something like this just to put over your tomato that we can wrap the bubble wrap around. First thing we are going to do is put the cage over our tomato. We are going to want to secure this right around the ground of the tomato. We are going to wrap this right around and we can just keep on going up and around. We can actually leave the top of this open. This is just like a wall of water. This what this does is it protects it from frost. It also can protect it from cold winds. But this would be as a replacement of a wall of water if you can't find a wall of water. This works really good. You've got the insulation with the air in each one of these bubbles to keep it warm. You can tape this because this is a little bit narrower or you can get a wider type of bubble wrap. You can leave the top open but if you are expecting a really hard cold frost, then you can actually lay a couple of layers over the top to give it some extra protection. But you want to make sure that you remove those top layers during the day or you can actually burn your tomato. And you can leave this on until the frost, all danger of frost is gone. And that's all there is to wrapping your tomato with bubble wrap.
