Hi, I'm Brandie Suchevich. I'm an elementary school music teacher, and today I'm going to show you how to play "Mary Had a Little Lamb" on the recorder. For this segment, all you need is a recorder, which is an instrument usually given to young students in grade school. First, you need to know four notes, the first note is a B, which requires your thumb and pointer finger. You also need to know A, which is thumb, one, two. G, which is thumb, one, two, three. And the highest note, you lift your and use only your second finger. An easier version of "Mary Had a Little Lamb" without the high G, would be the same song but without the G, you put a B. And that's how you play "Mary Had a Little Lamb."
