Hi my name is Linda DiSimone, decorator and designer and I'm here to tell you how to decorate a fireplace wall. The materials you will need for this is a large painting, vases, paint chips, and masks. First step is to choose items that have coordinating colors and fit a certain theme. The fireplace is usually the focal point of a room, therefore, you might want to choose a large painting to call attention to it. Step two, use paint colors to add drama to the fireplace area. Painting the fireplace wall or fireplace will make it stand out or if you have niches you could paint them different colors for a different type of dramatic feel. Step three, hang your painting and arrange your objects. Don't use too many items on your mantel. You don't want it to look cluttered but arrange items in odd numbers.
