Hi this is Jon and in this clip we will be changing the oil. Now there is two basic types of snowblower engines. One is a four-cycle engine which has a separate tank for the oil and a separate tank for the gas. And we also have a two-cycle engine where we need to mix the gas and the oil before we put it into the engine. On our two-cycle engine we never have to change the oil because it's burned as the engine runs. However on our four-cycle engine we need to change the oil typically at the end of each season. The easiest way to change the oil is to locate the oil fill cap and go ahead and remove that. Then we're just going to tip the engine on it's side and it might get a little bit messy. So you want to make sure to clean up any messes that you make. And after that using a funnel go ahead and fill the engine back up with new oil. You'll know when it's full when you can look down the engine oil fill tube and see just a little bit of oil.
