Hi, I am Sue Walker, and I am going to show you how to make overnight baked French toast. You will need a mixing bowl, a whisk, a nine by thirteen baking dish, a small sauce pan, and an oven. The ingredients are one loaf of French bread sliced, eight eggs, one cup of milk, one half cup of cream, one teaspoon of vanilla, one half teaspoon of cinnamon, one cup of butter, one cup of brown sugar, and two tablespoons of corn syrup. Butter the baking dish, then arrange the bread in a single layer. Mix together the eggs. milk, cream, cinnamon, and vanilla. Beat well and pour over the bread in the baking dish. Cover and refrigerate over night. In the morning, preheat the oven to four-hundred and fifty degrees. Melt the one cup of butter, the brown sugar, and the corn syrup in a small saucepan. Pour this over the slices of bread. Place in the oven and bake at four-fifty for twenty-five minutes or until golden brown. Serve with butter and syrup or fruit and whipped cream.
