Hello, Dan here with DK LeSieur, we're a general contractor out of Washougal, Washington. Today I've been asked to talk to you about how to remove a stubborn screw. First off, we're going to need some tools. I'm going to use my power screwdriver, and I have an attachment that I put in it that is a screw extractor. Also, I have a screwdriver if need be, and a razor blade. And, the razor blade is not for every stubborn screw. It is more for a painted over stubborn screw. So, I'm going to simulate how to remove a stubborn screw. Okay, so I have taken my extractor bit and put into my power screwdriver, and I'm going to attempt to remove this screw. As you can see, it is turning slowly. Okay, that is, that's one way. Another way is if that screw is very stubborn with paint on it. Razor blade, and we're going to take cut the top into the screw where the paint is. I'm going to cut it both ways here. So, we've done that, we might have to do it again. Okay, so that's what we'd use a razor blade for, and then we'd go back to our power screwdriver with our extractor, or screwdriver. I'm Dan, and that is how to remove a stubborn screw.
