Hello, Dan here with DK LeSieur General Contractor, Washougal, Washington. Today I've been asked to explain how to demagnetize a screwdriver. Well, I'm not just going to explain, I'm going to show it to you. First of course, you need a screwdriver, which I have one here and simple way of doing is a hammer. I like bigger hammers, I could do more damage with them. So I do a lot of demo here at DK LeSieur. So, we take our screwdriver, we have a nice, hard surface, a metal surface. Lay your screwdriver on it, take your hammer, hit it, maybe hit it twice. And now your screwdriver is demagnetized. Okay, so I just showed you how o demagnetize a screwdriver. You know, I've been doing what I do for a good twenty, twenty-five years and I've always wanted magnetized screwdrivers. And in fact, when I was a boy, I had to learn how to magnetize them. So folks, if you don't have to, don't demagnetize them, but I did show you how to do it. So, Dan here with DK LeSieur on demagnetizing your screwdriver.
