Hi I am Ken Fargason with Nashville Fireplace and Grills out of Nashville, Tennessee. Tonight we are going to talk about how to store firewood, and keep it nice and dry before you burn it. The materials you are going to need are fairly simple. The first thing you are going to need is some nice dry seasoned hardwood, a log hoop, a log holder or log carrier. This is what we call a log hoop. It is used to store wood, keep it off the ground. You can use this on your patio to keep a small amount of wood dry, and ready to use. It is inexpensive, and it holds quite a bit of wood. If you are carrying wood any distance you might want to pick up a log holder or log carrier. It is used to stack several pieces of wood if you are trying to carry wood from a long distance. It keeps you from having to bundle them up in your arms, and it makes an easy way to load wood from the wood pile to the fireplace. This is another log storage device that we sell. It not only stores your wood, but it gives you a place to hang your log carrier, it gives you a place to put your bucket, your tools, your gloves. It is a nice way to organize your fireplace needs as far as your wood, and all the things that you use around them.
