In this clip we're going to go over the different difficulties you will encounter in indoor rock climbing. Now each gym is going to use its own grading system. In our gym this is what we use. Our routes are color coded by difficulty, orange being the easiest. We call that recreational, other gyms; beginner, easy, etc. In difficulty wise that is going to go from V-zero to an easy V-two. The V system is an outdoor grading system. Now, we use green as intermediate and that goes from V-two to an easy V-four. Advanced is yellow tape, red is open and that is the hardest V-seven and up for our most experienced climbers. Now as you can see as you walk around, you know, it's very easy to see, here we have the green route, that's an intermediate route. This is an open route with micro, micro, very small hand holds, really small. Here we have the advanced route it does up there, very easy to see. And then we have an orange route here for our beginners which is filled with nice large jugs, easy to hold on to. Really, anyone can get up that route.
