"Hi. I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village. I am the official mom for mommywood.com. And today we're going to be doing some applique projects. There are a lot of options out on the market these days for appliques. You can either buy pre-made ones that have sticky backs so that you can apply them either through iron on transfers, or these letters that we're going to be using today that have actually just sticky backs and they're felt. You can also buy iron on tape. There's Stick Witchery Fusing Tape applique iron on adhesive. There are a lot of options for iron on transfers for pictures and you're creating your own artwork. And then you can also cut and sew some of your own appliques. The choices are really endless and there are a lot of really neat projects that you can do with appliques. Today we're going to be doing a couple of different things. I'm going to show you how to make a banner like this. This is actually not finished yet so if I tip it over too much, it will all fall off. But we're going to be making a banner that says Expert Village. And then we're going to be embellishing some baby shirts, both with some fabric appliques that we make, as well as some iron on transfers. So stick around and we'll get started on our first one which is the banner."
