Hi this is Susan Hilferty owner of Pole Fitness Miami located in Coral Gables, Florida. In this clip we are going to talk about pole dancing lessons. Now it's very important when you have new people come to your studio that you make them feel comfortable and secure. So what I'd like to do with pole dancing lessons with my new students is just have them get acclimated with the pole. Just start feeling their way cause it's very foreign. And just try to see that it's always here behind you and just walking around. Learning to trust the pole is very important when you are taking pole dancing lessons because without trust as you know in a relationship as well things fall apart. So it's really good to get the student acclimated in their first pole dance lessons with just feeling comfortable and getting familiar with the pole. So actually a very easy move on your first class would be to bring your right arm up, to bring your right leg forward and your left leg forward. And you are going to move the hips out on the left and then you are just going to come all the way down on the pole and then you are just going to move those hips all the way out and your pelvis in front and have them have their hands behind and then out and then down, and then up. So their back is up against the pole. The upper back with their body is just getting acclimated while they do get their balance on the pole. thank you for watching, this has been Susan Hilferty.
