"Hello, I'm Tony Ingle, basketball coach at Kennesaw State University. We are a Division I school here in Georgia. How do you you a crossover dribble? Okay, here's how you do a crossover dribble. I think it's also important why you're doing a crossover dribble. So, if the defense is here, on defense, Tony dribble, keep the ball in that hand. Okay, he just goes past me. That's pretty easy to guard, because as he dribbles, I can move over here. He must have a counter move. That's where the crossover comes in, he's now going to head fake, as he dribbles he's going to head fake with that foot, his head, and that shoulder, that way, to fake me over that way. So as I lean over, he puts the ball on the floor into the other hand, crosses over with that leg, and attacks me. Okay, so we'll do it, here we go. I'm in defense, he goes, he head fake, I go, he crossed over. And what he did if you see this, as he was dribbling, it looked like he's going this way, it's a deceptive move, and basketball, it's a game of deception. They think you're going to go fast you go slow, and then you're going to shoot you drive, they're going to drive, you shoot. And in this dribble with a crossover, and how to do it, is really sell it, really sell it. So as you dribble, make it look like you're going that way, as the defense shifts, he crosses over, and he eludes the defender. Last time, here we go, crossover dribble. He dribbles, and crossed over, and blows by me. Very good, Tony, thank you. That's how to do a crossover dribble."
