Uploading Websites Using Web Hosting Companies

"Hi! I'm Kelly Karnetsky, website designer of SpringsHosting.com. Today I'm going to show you how to upload website using web hosting companies. There's a lot of different options when uploading website to a web host. And what you need is you need to get a web host account and you can get one at either godaddy.com, hostgator.com, oneonone.com, or dreamhost.com. But today we're going to show you with the one that I'm very familiar with. So all you need is an Internet connection and your favorite browser and go to SpringsHosting.com. Okay, step one is we need to log in to our hosting control panel. And we're using Springs Hosting as an example, so we are going to log in. Now we're logged into our control panel. So the step two is to access the File Manager so you scroll down until you find File Manager. Click on that. So now step three, we need to upload the files to our website. So we're going to click on our domain and then we're going to click on Upload. So after you've uploaded your files, we need to move on. So step four, test it out. So let's go ahead and go to our website and see if our files are there. So we've got to the website and we can see that we've got our file here. But we've kind of screwed up on our file. So we can easily go back and modify our files. Go back to the File Manager and then we're going to select our content, and then edit. So we just need to edit one of the paths. So we've done that and then we say Save. So now I've saved, so now we should have refresh and there we go. Now we've got our content. Thanks for watching.
