"Hi, I'm Kelly Karnetsky website designer with SpringsHosting.com. Today, I'm going to show you how to setup a web page on a server. In order to upload a web page to a server, you're going to need the follow things. You need a web host and from your web host, you need to get the FTP access information. It's going to be FTP host address, username and a password. After you have that, you need to get a FTP client program to upload the files to your host. There's a bunch of different programs out there, such as QFTP, BulletProof FTP, but today we're going to use a free one called FileZilla. You can download FileZilla for free for both Windows and Mac at FileZilla-project.org. Step number one is to download the FileZilla client. So, go to the FileZilla website FileZilla-project.org and click on download FileZilla. Click your appropriate OS. Today, we're going to be using Windows. So, we're going to click on the Windows icon. It's going to start downloading. So, we're going to let it download and now once we have it downloaded, we're going to go ahead and launch it. Run it. So, it can go ahead and install. Go ahead and walk through the prompts and just skip the program install. So step number two is to launch the program. So, we're going to go to Start All Programs, FileZilla FTP Client and then FileZilla. Now, once we have this launch, Let me go and walk you through what it is a little bit. So, over here on the left-hand side is your computer. On the right-hand side is going to be the computer of whatever you connected to the server. So step three is to connect to the server. So, let's go ahead and connect. Now, my username and my password and then we click on quick connect and it should connect us to the server. So, now we're connected to the server. You can see over here on the right hand side all of the files that are on my server and I needed to go the site that I need to upload the files to. So step number four is going to be to upload the files. So, we need to browse to where we need to upload the files to. So, now I'm in there. Now, I need to find the files. Now, I found the files over on the right hand side by browsing. So, I need to highlight all the files by clicking on the top one and holding down shift clicking on the last one. Now this is how you upload the files. You just click and drag over. If you have files already on your server that are the same name, you'll get prompted with overwrite. So, I'm going to go ahead and overwrite all the files because I need to update this site. Now, all my files are successfully upload, you can see down here with a successful transfers tab to let me know that all eighteen files have been uploaded. Now step number five is we need to make sure that all the files have uploaded so let's go ahead and check that now. So, we're going to go to our website and yep we can see that all the files uploaded because I needed to add these buttons so they all added now. I'm Kelly Karnetsky website designer with SpringsHosting.com and you just learn how to setup a web page on a server."
