"Hi my name is Rabbi Mordechai Salfer of Yeshivas Doresh. I've been teaching rabbinical students for the last 20 or so years. Today we are going to be talking about how to put and place a Mezuzah. Typically the Mezuzah goes on the right side coming through the doorway so on every, it goes on the door post coming on the right side into the door. So since we are coming into this room we place it on this side as opposed to the other side and the Mezuzah is typically placed on a little bit of an angle towards coming in as based on a controversy as to whether it goes across or straight up so as a somewhat of a compromise it is put on an angle. It typically goes within the top third of the doorway but most importantly is placed pretty much within the head or body size of the doorway so the body height and that is where the Mezuzah is placed."
