"Hello my name is Melissa. I'm here at Maui Tan in Atlanta. We have two locations. This is our Vinings location. Our other location is in Midtown in Atlanta. Here we offer UVB free beds, mystic spray tans, all sorts of products and a great knowledge about tanning. We're going to go over how to be more precautions in the tanning bed. You want to be careful about tanning your face. Most tanning beds have facial lamps that you want to lay under. This filters out a little bit of that UVB ray which can be more stimulant and more harsh on your face. You also want to be sure to tan with a facial tanning lotion. This is going to help those more sensitive areas get the correct amount of light necessary. It's also going to help you get more color on your face without any of the harsh after effects. Making sure that your skin is highly moisturized before going into the bed will also cut down on your chances of being burned. This is when tanning can be dangerous. You always want to make sure that you are wearing eyewear in the bed as well. Eyewear is going to give you UVA and UVB full spectrum coverage from the more sensitive areas on your face."
