Hello, I'm Debbie Benami-Rahm; a career expert with dbrcareerservices.com. Let's talk a little bit about how to set personal goals. There's an acronym. It's not mine; so I will tell you that right upfront; but it works. And it's SMART. How to set SMART personal goals? The S is specific. Make your goals as specific as possible. Narrow them down so you can really really know exactly what you're going to be doing. The M stands for measurable. Make them measurable so you have some perimeters to work within. Make them achievable. That's the A in SMART. You want to make sure that, you know, that it's something you can do. The R is for realistic. Make sure they're real; they are goals that you can attain. And the last one, the T in the SMART setting personal goals is make them timely.
