How to perform Keyword Marketing Research

Write down 3-5 commonsense keyword marketing research phrases that come to mind. Sounds simple, but there is an element of commonsense that is critical to performing effective keyword research. It's not just about some magical tool that gives you all the answers!

Type these tools into your keyword marketing tool. This is where the commonsense mixes with the research tool and hopefully spits out the perfect keywords for you to start ranking for! If not, you entered the wrong ingredients!

Determine the keywords you can feasibly rank for. The most common mistake people make is to use keywords that have 100,000 queries/month or more. You need a lot of money to buy your way to the top of these keywords!

Pick 3-5 keyword suggestions. Typically there will be 30-100 results in your keyword marketing research tool. You can't possibly use every one.
