"Hey there, Logan Masterson from Haunted Nashville and we're going to talk a little bit about how to make paper skeletons. The kids love it. It's great fun. You can decorate the house with them. Good stuff for Halloween. So for materials we're going to need some thin cardboard like a cereal box maybe, some scissors and maybe a craft knife or box cutter, some brass brads like you use to put your folders together with parents and some glue. So the first thing to do after we've printed or drawn out our design is to mount it on some cardboard so that it will last for a while. That way you can keep it and put it back up next year. So once we've glued it down we're going to cut it out and depending upon the complexity of your design you're going to want scissors or a craft knife, maybe both. Once you've done that you can cut the holes out that go between the joints of the skeleton. So I'm using my X-Acto knife on my cutting mat here. It's the same kind of cutting mat that you would use for quilts. You can either do that or you can put some cardboard down under it and we're just going to kind of carve out the hole just big enough to get the brad through there. If you have a really good hole punch you can use that otherwise you're going to want a craft knife. Now we're just going to do a little bit of assembly. I've got my arm piece ready to go, so I'm just going to take my brad. I'm going to slip it through the arm just like this and then I'm going to slip it into the socket of the shoulder just like that. Then I spread the tongs of the brad out and look at that. It's ready to go and now I can put the other end of the arm on the elbow there just the same thing. Now that's ready to go and we get another brad and the hand and we're going to do the same thing all the way down until the ankle bone is connected to the foot bone and you keep going in this fashion until you've got everything that you need, your whole skeleton assembled. This guy is great. He's a pirate skeleton with a couple of cutlasses, Arr, best of both worlds and then you can cut a hole in the top near the hat in this case or on the top of the skull and you can hang this guy up. So this is a really really easy project that you can do with your kids. It's a lot of fun. You mount it on the cardboard and it lasts for years, stick it in the memory box or just drag it out every year to hang it on the fridge."
