"Hello! I'm Jacklyn Laflamme. I'm a professional artist with JacklynLaflamme.com. In this clip I'm going to show you how to draw a Samurai sword. You'll need a sketch book, you'll need some black markers to draw with. We're going to start off with the top of the sword. We're just going to draw in a rectangle, and one more little rectangle. And we're going to draw I'll start down here and draw one long continuous line for the top blade of the sword. And we're going to come down and angle it a little bit. And another long line up here. I'll put a little line here to show where the sword connects. And then if this handle here is leather, we can just show that little bit of detail where the grip for the sword would be. So you can just fill that in with a bunch of little lines. Then we're going to draw the sheath for the sword. So it's going to be the same principle. We're going to start off with our triangles, it's going to be a little bit shorter because the handle sticks out. And again, we'll do our lines to show the leather. Then we're going to do nice, long line here. And again, the angled line and one more line. And just that simply, you have a Samurai sword. This has been Jacklyn Laflamme, thank you for watching."
