"Hi, I'm Marika Neumann, and today, I'm going to show you how to edit a photograph. There's a number of different programs that you can use to edit a photograph, and they all have similar functions. The program I'll be using is Adobe Photoshop CS4. The first thing you'll want to do is open up your photo in the program of your choice. Once you open up your photo, you'll want to decide what you want to change. For this particular photo, I'm going to increase the brightness and the contrast. If you're planning on printing your photographs, make sure to increase the brightness just a little bit higher, because photos tend to print a little bit darker than how they appear on the computer screen. The next thing I'm going to do is increase the saturation of the picture. The hue should only be adjusted if the picture is clearly the wrong color, or if you want to go for a more artistic look. The next thing I want to do is use the clone stamp tool to remove some blemishes. Keep in mind that you can undo any step by going into edit, and then undo, or by pressing control z on your keypad. And, the last thing I'm going to do is crop my picture to where I want it. I'm selecting a cropping tool, and then moving the edges in to create a square around the picture. And those are some tips on editing a photograph."
