Step 1
First, create a new account at calendarbudget.com. You'll get a free 30-day trial of Premium features and no credit card is required to sign up.

Complete the Setup Wizard, which will help you get started. You'll choose some spending categories and setup some of your regular bills, expenses and incomes so CalendarBudget will know what your regular schedule of payments are. Using this, CalendarBudget will extrapolate your expenses year into the future.

Step 3
Start planning your future, and maintain your budget at least weekly. Use the reconciling assistant to help keep your budget plan in check with reality. After a few weeks, you'll wonder how you ever made do without this tool.
