"Hi, I'm Lizbeth Mullet and I'm a professional hairstylist with LizsHairDesign.com. In this clip I'm going to show you how to clean an electric curling iron. You need an electrical curling iron. You'll need cleaner. You'll need an old towel. The first thing you want to do when you're cleaning your curling iron; your electric curling iron is make sure of course it's unplugged. You don't want anything plug when you're cleaning this. You want to get it unplugged. Make sure that everything is functioning okay and that, that it's nice and dry; that it's not from before. And you want to use something like dissolvent, dissolvent cleaner, all purpose cleaner for your, for your iron. You're going to go ahead and dampen the towel; this is an old towel. And you want to go ahead and go through it just nice and easily; clean all the edges; going in there and cleaning the sides and the back of it. It's good to clean it at least once a month; keep it from all the oils and all the products that you use on the hair; moving that around and then using the dry and just to go over it again to make sure everything's out. And this is how you clean an electrical curling iron. This has been Lizbeth Muller; thank you for watching."
