"Hi, I'm Lizbeth Muller and I'm a professional hairstylist with LizsHairDesign.com. In this clip I'm going to show you how to make spiral curls in your hair. You'll need a comb; you'll need a small barrel curling iron. So let's get started. We take a strand of hair that's relatively small. We don't want to take a big section of the hair. And for spiral curls, we'd use a small barrel curling iron. It could be electrical or it could be Marcel. We take it close to the root and start to twirl the piece of hair around and around to get the curl into the hair. Twirling it, twirling it until the end piece reaches inside of the line of the barrel. Okay? Don't get it so close to the root where you burn somebody. Even if it's an electrical iron or Marcel, you don't want to burn them. Okay. You will leave it in of about maybe a minute. Okay; not a minute actually, a few seconds; okay; and then we will bring it down and there's your spiral curl. Spiral curls along like this and they're very very curly; you do it all over the head; just like that. And that's how you make a spiral curl."
