I stay at home with my son Noah. My other son is a first grader; so I don't get to see him for most of the day. I like to write articles like the ones you read here on ehow.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Get your flu shot! Yep, I know, you don't like that big needle. But consider this, most other medication will be more expensive and not as effective as the shot.

  2. Step 2

Wash your hands...often. Try to avoid bar soaps, as they become breeding grounds for bacteria and viruses.

  3. Step 3

Always use disposable tissues whenever you have to blow your nose. Throw them away when you're done and wash your hands thoroughly.

  4. Step 4

Frequently clean surfaces such as counter tops, telephones, and door knobs. Use antibacterial wipes. The generic versions are affordable and, above all, they're disposable.

  5. Step 5

If you have to sneeze, but don't have a tissue available, sneeze into your shoulder. DON'T sneeze into your hands.
