"Hello I am Debbie Benami-Rahm, a career expert with DBRcareersevices.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to evaluate a difficult employee. You will need a file contain all of the documentation of your employees performance. So first thing you want to do is set up a time to meet with your employee. Make sure that you are comfortable, and you have all of your documentation in place. It is very important to show the employee that you have set out those standards for them to perform to, and that you have documented any particular situations where they have not the specific requirements and criteria. Have the meeting face-to-face meeting remain professional, and cordial. Definitely compliment them, and acknowledge any of the positives that have happened, and any of the accomplishments that have occurred. Then stop, and continue forward with addressing the difficult behavior, and the challenging situation that needs to be addressed. Take out all of your documentation, have the discussion, and set up a follow-up date to go over any of the further accomplishments that need to be done. This has been Debbie Benami-Rahm."
