"Hi, I'm Adrien Matthews, from Tayst Restaurant, in Nashville, Tennessee. Today, we're going to talk about putting salt on the rim of a Margarita glass. To effectively put salt on the rim of a Margarita glass, you're going to need just a few things: a lime wedge, a plate, a glass, and some kosher salt. The first step in putting salt on the rim of a Margarita glass is to pour salt onto a plate. You want to try to make the salt somewhat even and relatively thick, especially if you're going to do more than one glass. Once you've poured the salt, give it a little twist so that it flattens out. At this point, you want to take your glass and your lime wedge. Slip the lime wedge around the rim of the glass, and twist while squeezing the lime. This will give you some lime juice around the rim of the glass, which will allow the salt to stick, and also give the person drinking your Margarita a nice little blast of lime when they take a sip. Once you have the lime juice on the rim, just press it down into the salt, and there you have it. And that's how you put salt on the rim of a Margarita glass."
