"I'm Adrien Matthews with Tayst Restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. Today we're going to talk about removing red wine stains. What you'll need to remove your red wine stain is some white wine and a clean terry cloth towel. So you just spilled red wine on your favorite blouse, you must act quickly. The first step that you want to do is rinse the blouse under cold water. After rinsing the garment under water, you want to take a wet cloth that is clean and blot the wine out. Don't rub because all the rubbing will do is spread it all over the garment. When you've blotted out what you can, now take your white wine and pour, let it sit for a second, take a clean part of the cloth again and blot one more time. At this point, you want to get the garment into the laundry or dry cleaner as quickly as possible in the hopes of saving the garment. Red wine is a very strong pigment so chances are the longer you leave it, the more likely you are to have a stain. That's how you remove red wine stains from clothing."
