"Hi this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment we're going to talk about how to take care of Gerber Daisies. Now Gerber Daisies are beautiful flowers that come from South Africa and they're really easy to grow as long as you put them in a really sunny hot spot and give them good drainage. So the materials needed to grow a Gerber Daisy are some Gerber Daisy seeds or a plant if you have already a start. You need a raised bed or a container to put it in and then you need some potting soil or in this case I have mixed some gravel and potting soil together. So step one is take your container and fill it about three quarters full with gravel and some regular potting soil or some compost mixed together. Step two take your Gerber Daisy seeds and just kind of set them into the container and you want to put them towards the middle of the container and kind of spread them out a little bit. Now step three cover the seeds about one inch with some more compost. Step four pat it down a little bit and step five put it out in the sunnies hottest spot you can find. Give it some water but let it dry out in between and that way you'll have a beautiful Gerber Daisy in your own garden."
