"I'm Sherry Ayles from Customary Couture in Cedar Park, Texas and these are tips for how to pick the perfect veil. Things you'll need when picking out a wedding veil are an excellent bridal consultant, a veil and a dress. The first thing you want to look at in picking a veil is the details on your dress. For instance this one has a floral motif so you might want to pick a veil that also has a floral design in it, that's why this is a nice veil for this dress. You might want to go with a cathedral length veil if you have got a really simple dress because a long veil like this doesn't overpower a simple dress and it is great for an evening wedding. So this two-tier cathedral length veil is a good option on this simple dress because it adds drama to what would be a very simple dress otherwise. With this simple dress here you want to look at the design of your bead work. You have little bugle beads here so you might want to pick a veil that compliments your dress with little bugle beads. I picked this two tiered veil for this dress because it mimics the detail on the bodice of the dress, see how you have your design here, design here, design here and design there. It's a nice balance and finally for the nontraditional bride you might want to go with no veil at all and pick a simple flower for your hair. I did that because there is so much detail work on the back of this dress you really wouldn't want to cover it up with a veil. When choosing the length of your veil you want to look for details like this. The veil stops right at the same point that the bodice intersections to the skirt which makes it a nice point to hit for the veil. If this didn't have this point you might want to go a little longer. This is Sherry Ayles from Customary Couture and this has been how to pick the perfect veil."
