The things to think about when picking a plus sized bridesmaid dress; proper measurements, a strap, empire waists, ruching and the proper fabrics. My first step for choosing a bridesmaid dress for a plus-sized woman; a little bit of a strap. A plus-size woman will thank you for it. My second tip; look for ruching around the waist. It's going to camouflage any midsection imperfections and make you look like you have a really tiny waist. Third tip; a flowy fabric like chiffon, along with ruching and a little bow; going to also accentuate the waistline. My fourth tip; the empire waist. It's going to draw the eye up, creating extra height; a little bit of ruching here; it's going to also camouflage your tummy. My final tip, cautionary tail; don't choose satin.
