Hi, I'm Chris Murray; a professional soccer player at the Wilmington Hammerheads and I'm going to give you some regular rules and regulations in the game of soccer. In soccer there's many rules and regulations that you should become aware of before you start playing. As a youth player, it's hard to grasp some of these rules; but as you get older they become more and more knowledgeable to you. One rule and regulation is that there's twenty two men on a field; eleven players from each team; ten field players and a goal keeper. One major rule in soccer is that you can't use your hands except for the goal keeper on each team. Another rule and regulation in professional soccer game is that once you come off the field, you're not allowed to re-enter the game. So once you're subbed-off; that's you, you're done for the rest of the game. Other rules in soccer consists of stop as you play. A stop as you play occurs when there's a foul from one, committed by one team or another player; if the ball goes out of bounce; if the ball goes out of bounce on either sideline or an in-line. The sidelines are on the right and left sides of the field that are running along ways from goal to goal. The in-lines run from left to right, in front of each goal on the inside; on either end of the field. If the ball goes over the in-line, it's either awarded; you're either awarded a goal kick or a corner kick depending on which team that touch last. If the ball goes over the sideline, you're awarded a throw in depending on which team touch it last as well. And these are just, these are just some rules and regulations of soccer.
