"Hi, my name is Keri Wootton and I'm from Austin, Texas and I'm the owner of Leave The Details To Me, Event and Wedding Consulting. I'm here today to talk to you about how to make favor bags for your wedding. Some of the materials you'll need to make a favor wedding bag are favor bag kits that include your bag, your ribbon and your embellishment tag; pinking shears and whatever chocolate or candies you want to put inside them. You're then going to take your bag and you're going to open it like this first and then you're going to fold in on your perforated line. Then you're going to take the bottom flops and fold them into your bag. You're going to take your side flops first and then your insert flop and that's as simple as it is. Here is your box completed; pretty simple. The next step is to get your tags ready. These you can print or handwrite with your initials, your wedding date; a monogram or if you have a stamp of a symbol or color; you can be as creative as you like with your labels. Simply take your sheet and you're going to fold on the perforated lines. I do the long one first and then just continue to go around. Really important though that you fold these perforations down really well; otherwise you'll end up with torn tags and you can end up short of what you need. And most of these bags also come with a, an empty blank one that you can use to test in your printer should you decide to print from your printer. Always great to test it out first which way it gets laid down on your printer tray. So we just simply push the outsider draft; make sure you get it nice and clean and then you take these perforations and fold them. I fold them twice when it comes to the, in actually getting these out; again, it prevents ripping. And then you'll wrap all over your individual card and gently put off. We've got some simple white ribbon and you're going to thread your ribbon through your bag after you filled it with your favorite candies. Chocolates, mints, M & M's with your wedding date; whatever your favorite is are kind of goes with your theme. Once your ribbon is threaded on your box, you're going to take the end of your ribbon and fold it in half and take your little card, hold the ribbon corner through, slide it all the way down and then you're going to take your ribbon and tie it a knot; helps to hold and then you're going to tie a simple bow. Then you're going to snip the ends with your pinking shears, like so. And there you have a simple fun wedding favor bag. My name is Keri Wootton from Austin, Texas and I was here talking to you about how to make wedding favor bags."
