"I'm Erica, I'm in Atlanta, Georgia and I'm the mother of three children and they're all under the age of five and so I have plenty of experience talking about toddlers and how to care for infants. What we're going to talk today about is how to relieve gas pain in an infant at home. First thing you need to make sure is why they're gassy. It could be their bottle so you might need to change to a different brand of bottles. Be sure that you burp them. If you haven't burped them they can get gassy and be fussy just from not being burped. Another way to do it is you can rub their back. So you just rub their back, rub it in an upward motion, and just like to burping them, okay the same thing. And then after, if that doesn't work you lay them down and you can rub their stomach in a clockwise motion. This is how your intestines run and so if you rub it the other way you can actually make them more constipated. And then just rub in a circular motion clockwise. It's kind of a little massage and gas relief and the baby will usually feel better after you do this. If the rubbing the belly and the other stuff doesn't work you can also go to your local drugstore and pick up the Little Tummies Gas Drops. They have gas drops. They have drops for colic and things like that. So you can use those type of remedies too in addition to the home remedy or you could do it in place of it or if it gets too much of a problem, you can go see your doctor and try to look for something out there."
