How to Register for a Wedding Registry

"Hello, I'm Shauna Jankoviak with Perfectly Planned Weddings And Events here in Austin, Texas and today I'm going to be sharing with you how to register for wedding gifts. Now all you need to do is to find a store; your favorite department store or it could be linens, clothes, furniture store. You go in there and you talk to the customer service department and let them know that you would like to register with them for your wedding and most of the time they'll usually give you a little scanner gun and then you can go around the store and scan for your favorite items. And the store will print out a nice little registry list for your guests to view with all your items and would even show whether or not those items were purchased for you so you don't get two toasters or two blenders. That you way you can, you know, get a variety of items that you choose. With most department stores you can even register for your guests online and you can make changes to them, you can update them and you can, you know, view them anytime you like. Wedding etiquette does state that you're not suppose to open gifts on your wedding day in front of all your guests plus you shouldn't put your wedding registry information into your invitations. Guests should either be able to buy you a gift that they choose or if they have questions about your registry, go to a family friend or a loved one and ask them where you're registered.
