"Hi! I'm Will from the Outspokin Bicycle & Sport Shop located in Newbury, New Hampshire. Today we're going to talk about the essentials for a ski trip. So say a couple of your buddies are going with you heading out on a ski trip and just want to know what to bring, some essentials. You know, you have your basic obvious things, you know, your skis, your snowboards, you know, your boots that go with them. You might forget them, check 'em. But you know, the things that maybe make a difference, if you're going to be, say going out in the springtime especially. A little extra wax would be helpful that you can maybe apply, you know, midday, there's a lot of wax will wear off in the springtime where conditions change (maybe it's cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon). But primarily it's more about clothing probably than anything, you know. An extra pair of gloves if you sweat a lot, definitely an extra pair of socks. If you go in for lunch, one of the best things you can do is pull your boots off whether they're snowboard or ski, and put a fresh pair of socks on because socks basically are going to wet moisture off your foot. You sweat whether you're warm or cold so a dry a pair of socks will get you warm for the afternoon, give you a much better attitude. Same thing with a good pair of gloves. You sweat a lot, you know, just a second pair of gloves is real helpful. Another important thing to maybe having your box or your bag is just an extra layer, whether it's a sweatshirt or maybe a fleece vest just to in case it gets cold. You just never know what's going to happen in the wintertime. You know, little extra layer of thermal underwear also. So it depends how big your kid is and how far you're going. If you're really not sure, you can do some big mountain skiing, more is better. If you're just going to go for a day trip, you know, maybe just an extra pair of socks, some extra thermal underwear, and a you know, maybe a fleece vest just for an extra layer for warmth. Other than that, you should be good to go. And that's just a quick checklist for a day of skiing."
