"Hi I am Steve Anthony, professional photographer with steveanthonystudios.com. In this clip I am going to show you how to clean SLR lenses. Now the things that you are going to need are an SLR lens, a clean lint free anti-static cloth preferably a microfiber, they do the best job in lens cleaning and some sort of cleaning solution, a lens cleaning solution is available in any camera store. You can also what most of us have done for many many years is just to fog up your lens a little bit with your breath, that just be very very careful when you are cleaning a lens, be very careful just to use a minimal amount of pressure and gently in a circular motion starting from the inside of the lens work your way out and the front element of the lens you may have a filter on there so it may just be a matter of cleaning the filter but your rear element sometimes is very difficult to get to and in some cases the rear element of your lens may be recessed, you might have to rack out the lens in order to expose the rear element. Be extremely careful with the rear element they are usually not as well coated as the front elements and can be very easily scratched so very lightly using a circular motion just wipe any debris off the lens. Always be extremely careful, lenses can scratch very easily. This has been Steve Anthony."
