"Hi I'm Ron Chase with pahrumpauction.com located in Pahrum, Nevada. This is my shop, come on in. Sometimes you want to share information between two computers and you don't want to create an entire network. You can directly connect two computers with a USB cable. You have to make sure you get a special USB cable that has this end on both sides so you can either plug it into the front or the back of each computer. So you plus one into computer one and the other end goes into computer two. Once the cables are plugged into each computer in Windows, go to start, control panel, when control panel loads select network connections. In the upper left hand corner you can select create new connection. You will get a new connection wizard, click on next. You want the bottom option of setting up an advanced connection, again select next, again the bottom option of connect directly to another computer, next, now choose the role you want for this computer whether it is the host computer that has most of the information on it or whether it is the guest computer where you will allow somebody access to your information. Select next, select the device for this connection which will be your USB port, select next, give the permissions that you want for the person to have. If it is just you sharing amongst yourself select administrator and that way you can share everything on your computer, click next and finish. Congratulations, you just connected two computers together."
