"Hi, I'm Tracy Prentiss of Montague, Massachusetts and I'm going to show you how to make a resume in Microsoft Word 2007. Resumes can have a lot of formatting and can be intimidating. However, Word provides you with some templates you can use to get you started. In Word, click on the office menu button in the upper left hand corner and choose new, this will bring up a dialog box where you can choose different templates to base a document on. At the left, under templates, choose install templates, and this will allow you to select from the templates that were installed when you installed Word. There are several resume formats here, if you don't like these you can find additional formats by going down and choosing resumes and CD's in the Microsoft Office online section. When you see a resume that you like, click on it to highlight it, and then click create. This will give you a new document based on the resume template. You'll find that there are areas to click and type, for example, under objective, it says type you objectives, you click there, and you type in what you are looking to do for your job. Similarly, there are click and type areas under Education, Experience, and Skills. There will be places to put your address and all other pertinent information. To add additional items, you'll click and press your enter key to get new paragraphs and add text wherever you like . If you don't like any of the formatting, you can change it as you would in any document. You may highlight text, change the font, change the color, you still have complete control, this just gives you a starting point. That is how to create a resume in Microsoft Word 2007."
