"Hi, this is Christian from Mellow Johnny's in Austin, Texas, and today I'm going to show you how to purchase bicycle tires. Basically what you need to do is find your tire size. It'll be right here on the side of the tire. There's generally a label here that'll have that size. And then also you'll need to get the correct size tubes to go with that. Generally a tube will be in a box that has the tire size or tube size on there. They will vary from, like a small children's bike at twelve and a half, up to, like, a mountain bike which is like a twenty-six. Basically what you'll need to do is figure out what type of application your bicycle requires. Whether it's a hybrid, a road tire or a more aggressive mountain bike tire. You'll need the tire size. For example, this is a 700C. This is a twenty-six inch mountain bike wheel, and this is a twenty-four inch kid's bike. So here's an example of the...some of the different tires that are available. Each tire has a specific application, whether it be road riding, road racing, commuting, as far as, like, puncture resistance, high mileage tires. And then also more of a recreational-type tire that's going to be more like a light, off road or just city paths. And then also a, again, a more aggressive tread pattern for, like, mountain bike trail riding. And that's how you buy bicycle tires."
