"Hi, my name is Diesel, and I am the owner and operator of 4U2C Mobil Auto Detailing, here in beautiful Atlanta, Georgia. Now, I'm going to show you how to wax a car. Now basically, there's different ways you could wax the car. You can use a machine waxer. This right here is a porter cable. You can also use it for polishing, buffing. I like to just use it for waxing. Or, you can hand wax it yourself. That's what I'm going to do today, because a lot of people at home don't have access to a polisher or a buffer. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take a wax, a real nice grade wax. I prefer 3M or Meguiar's. You're going to put about a dime spot on your hand buffing waxing pad, and then you're just going to move it into the paint. Now, a lot of people like to go in a circular motion. I actually prefer to go side to side. The main reason why is because I think that a wax has an abrasiveness to it. If you go in a circular motion you can cause swell marks, so I like to go with the grain of the paint. Let it sit until it hazes up; sometimes, one minute, two minutes. Try not to wax the whole car. Just do a area at a time. Wait for it to haze up. Take a microfiber towel, and just wipe it off. I like to wipe it off in the same motion in which I put it on. And that's, basically, how you wax a car."
