Instructions

Step 1

Patient Consultation and examination. Take history and do physical examination of the areas involved. Discuss the procedure in detail with the prospective patient and answer questions.
Step 2

If you both agree, schedule the procedure and any pre-op tests that may be necessary. Take photographs of at least six views with a photo background. Decide upon type of anesthesia.
Step 3

Use the appropriate anesthetic procedure either local tumescent or local with Intravenous sedation with the services of an anesthetist or anesthesiologist. Perform the 4 phase Slim lipo procedure as shown in the video.
Step 4

Apply the appropriate garments and provide the patient and her caregiver a list of instructions
Step 5

See the patient the next day so that the incisions and areas can be examined.
Step 6

Schedule the two week and two month post op visits and reassure the patient about the swelling.
Step 7

See the patient at three months and take photos. Reassure the patient that although there is great improvement there will be more improvement up till six months.
