Hello Dan here with DK LeSieur Landscape Maintenance, Washougal, Washington. Been asked to talk to you folks about having a great lawn. Well, there's a lot of key ingredients that you need to have that great lawn. First, you need to have some water, good soil, fertilizer and sunshine and you do have to watch the pH level on your grass. You put too much fertilizer down which causes the pH level to come up, you might need to put some lime in and that will balance it out and give you a nice green healthy lawn. So, water, fertilizer, lime and just watch it grow and cut it. People don't realize you do need to cut your grass every week and use a sharp blade on your lawn mower. By cutting it, it is making it healthy and will make it grow better and do not leave those clippings on your grass. Some people think it's a great idea, but it does kill your grass and you will not have a great lawn doing that. So, keep a healthy lawn, fertilize, water, mow and lime.
